Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent for full-time site work in Pekin, IL. You will supervise electrical crews on utility-scale solar projects, enforce safety, review plans, and coordinate with subcontractors and engineering teams to keep milestones on track.

You will mentor foremen and crews, maintain daily field reports, and support startup, testing, and turnover activities with the owner. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Prefer 5 years' field construction experience at supervisory level.
• Prefer 3 years' utility-scale solar experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, NFPA 70E, and NEC standards and codes.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control.
• Experience with inverter skid underground installation and testing.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical project activities to ensure safe, on-time completion.
• Coordinate constructability for electrical scope with teams and subcontractors.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, schedules and submittals.
• Assist in CPM-driven project schedules and milestone adherence.
• Recruit and lead field teams, track materials, and manage daily reports.
• Ensure quality, safety and compliance with project specs.
• Support commissioning, turnover and documentation with Owner.
• Lead electrical subcontractors and testing/commissioning teams on site.
• Travel to multiple project sites; support start-up and punch lists.
