Job summary

Expertise Delivered seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to support a utility-scale solar project in Colorado. The role acts as the Owner's Representative, overseeing EPC electrical construction to ensure safety, schedule adherence and high quality.

Responsibilities include monitoring DC/MV systems, coordinating with civil/mechanical teams and guiding testing, inspections and energisation readiness on-site. Strong leadership and on-site availability in Colorado are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical construction experience on utility-scale solar projects (200MW+).
• Experience as Electrical Superintendent, Construction Manager, or Owner's Representative.
• Knowledge of DC/MV electrical systems, inverters, transformers, and solar collection infra.
• Experience overseeing EPC contractors and electrical subcontractors.
• Strong safety, quality standards, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC electrical construction activities across the solar project.
• Monitor DC collection systems, MV cabling, inverters, transformers, and infra.
• Oversee electrical contractors to ensure specs, safety and quality.
• Track construction schedules and progress against the program.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and report progress regularly.
• Identify and escalate electrical construction issues, delays and quality concerns.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for alignment.
• Support electrical testing, inspections, commissioning readiness and energisation.
