Job summary

LPL Solar LLC in the Southeast is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead self-performed electrical work on utility-scale solar EPC projects. You will direct crews, coordinate with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in superintendent roles on solar EPC projects, strong NEC/OSHA knowledge, and proven ability to read electrical drawings and manage large crews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a superintendent or lead foreman role on solar EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and utility-scale solar electrical systems.
• Proven experience managing large self-perform electrical crews.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all self-performed solar electrical construction activities including DC collection systems, AC systems, and conduit/cable installation.
• Direct electrical foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and labor, planning daily work and weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Enforce safety policies and lead toolbox talks; ensure JHAs and permits are completed.
• Maintain compliance with NEC, AHJ, and site safety requirements; identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Assist with material takeoffs and manpower forecasting, support change orders and scope growth as directed.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams; communicate progress and manpower needs to project management.
