Job summary

Kiewit Power Delivery in Lenexa, KS, seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction activities for fossil fuel generator projects. You will oversee multiple teams, drive planning, scheduling, budget control, and ensure compliance with NEC/IEEE regulations while coordinating with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

This role emphasizes leadership in safety, project execution, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to advance within a global contracting

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience with 3+ years in superintendent/leadership roles in electrical projects.
• Experience overseeing electrical installation on power generation or industrial sites.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE and NFPA standards and OSHA safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior superintendents, foremen, and field engineers to build a high-performance team.
• Review and approve labor rates to maintain budget integrity.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and resolve issues proactively.
• Foster client and onsite staff relationships for collaborative project execution.
• Lead planning sessions and solve problems with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports and cost updates.
• Review and negotiate change orders to manage scope/schedule.
• Support project closeout and turnover with robust documentation.
