Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc., a leading Florida mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise field crews on commercial projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity, interpret plans, manage materials, and coordinate with project managers.

The role requires five years of journeyman-level experience, strong knowledge of electrical codes, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related field experience with journeyman-level leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical codes.
• Strong ability to read construction drawings and schedules.
• Ability to manage personnel, allocate resources, and enforce safety procedures.
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of assigned crew to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
• Interpret plans, blueprints, submittals, and job orders to determine work methods.
• Plan, organize, and assign tasks to utilize labor, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to supervisors/PMs.
• Maintain records including timekeeping, material usage, and safety documentation.
• Oversee subcontractor activities for quality and compliance.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to apprentices and journeymen.
