Job summary

CEC Companies seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field trades on electrical construction projects. This safety‑sensitive role requires coordinating crews, managing materials, tools and manpower, and ensuring schedule adherence on small to mid‑sized projects.

The superintendent will establish work plans, oversee day‑to‑day activities with the Project Manager, and enforce safety processes while maintaining quality and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Requires reading and interpreting prints, specifications and schematics.
• Ability to bend conduit by hand and operate power tools.
• Experience with installation of electrical feeders, switchgear, panels, and lighting fixtures.
• Knowledge of safety procedures per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all field trades on electrical construction projects.
• Develop working estimates and take-offs with the Project Manager.
• Plan work for foremen and crews; ensure materials, tools, and manpower are available.
• Schedule work and manage man-loading charts; liaise with General Contractor on performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety processes and investigate incidents.
• Oversee site administrative tasks and reporting; maintain daily reports and forms.
