Job summary

Crucible ETN is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for East Tennessee Mines to lead electrical maintenance and design efforts. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and cost-controlled operations across mine infrastructure and surface equipment.

The position requires leadership and project management experience, with AutoCAD skills and substation design background advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical management and project management.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills required.
• Substation design and erection experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, planning, scheduling, implementation and review actions.
• Implement and assure compliance to maintenance work management procedures.
• Contribute to area designs during Underground Planning for electrical maintenance.
• Ensure electrical maintenance processes are established and maintained.
• Forecast costs to deliver KPIs and monitor financial plans.
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies for critical mine equipment.

Key Accountabilities

Comply with and apply operational discipline to the Safety, Planning, Scheduling, Implementation and Review Actions.

Implement and assure compliance to the maintenance work management procedure and processes.

Contribution to area designs during the Underground Planning processes as they apply to electrical maintenance.

Ensure the electrical maintenance processes are established and maintain incorporating.

Forecast costs required to deliver the Fixed Plant KPIs, monitor progress against financial plans, and take corrective action as required to deliver plans within forecast costs.

Develop and implement the electrical equipment maintenance strategies for the following equipment:

• Mines Hoist and Shaft Infrastructure
• Air Compressors
• Rails and Roll Dumps
• Crushers
• Surface Ventilation Fans
• Ball Mill
• Mobile electrical equipment
• Electrical distribution assets
• Electrical cabling
• Automation / Fiber optics
• Electrical schematic design

Qualifications / Experience

Completion of high school diploma or GED

Work experience with Electrical Management

Project Management Experience

Auto Cad experience

Substation design and erection experience

Strong leadership skills and team building.
