Job summary

Crucible ETN in East Tennessee is seeking a hands-on Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical maintenance for mining operations. You will drive safety, maintenance planning, and design work across critical equipment such as hoist systems, conveyors, crushers, and automation networks.

Leadership and project management experience are essential to develop maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and ensure reliable power distribution for underground and surface facilities in East Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• Work experience with Electrical Management.
• Project Management Experience.
• Auto CAD experience.
• Substation design and erection experience.
• Strong leadership skills and team building.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, planning, scheduling, implementation and review actions.
• Implement and assure compliance to the maintenance work management procedures.
• Contribute to area designs during Underground Planning for electrical maintenance.
• Establish and maintain electrical maintenance processes.
• Forecast costs to deliver Fixed Plant KPIs and manage to forecast costs.
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies for equipment including mines hoist, shaft infrastructure, air compressors, rails and roll dumps, crushers, surface ventilation fans, ball mill, mobile electrical equipment, electrical distribution assets, electrical cabling, automation / fiber optics, and electrical schematic design.

Key Accountabilities

Comply with and apply operational discipline to the Safety, Planning, Scheduling, Implementation and Review Actions.

Implement and assure compliance to the maintenance work management procedure and processes.

Contribution to area designs during the Underground Planning processes as they apply to electrical maintenance.

Ensure the electrical maintenance processes are established and maintain incorporating.

Forecast costs required to deliver the Fixed Plant KPIs, monitor progress against financial plans, and take corrective action as required to deliver plans within forecast costs.

Develop and implement the electrical equipment maintenance strategies for the following equipment:

• Mines Hoist and Shaft Infrastructure
• Air Compressors
• Rails and Roll Dumps
• Crushers
• Surface Ventilation Fans
• Ball Mill
• Mobile electrical equipment
• Electrical distribution assets
• Electrical cabling
• Automation / Fiber optics
• Electrical schematic design

Qualifications / Experience

Completion of high school diploma or GED

Work experience with Electrical Management

Project Management Experience

Auto Cad experience

Substation design and erection experience

Strong leadership skills and team building.
