Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Coursework/knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery or Three Phase Power Calculations.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides and standards.
• Insights into industry trends and developing technologies.
• Fundamental knowledge of construction practices and principles.
• Strong problem solving, written communication, informing and peer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity by reading and applying departmental design guides, standards and policies.
• Support continuous improvement and quality programs.
• Contribute to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables (drawings, reports, specs).
• Perform routine research and recommend equipment/materials.
• Collect, assimilate and manage data for engineering work.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations using standard methods.
• Adhere to budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Share information with team and coordinate with project leadership.
