Job summary

Wilson Construction Co. is seeking an Electrical Substation Assistant Project Manager / QA/QC / Field Engineer to support projects across the Western United States. The role combines office and field duties, primarily at project field offices, with some time at the California office in Rancho Cordova.

The position emphasizes project coordination, scheduling, RFIs/submittals, and QA/QC support. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus strong MS Office and scheduling tool experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction/engineering.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Schedulers with administrative tasks.
• Enter daily project status data and maintain records.
• Prepare 3- and 5-day look-aheads for scheduling.
• Prepare RFIs, transmittals, and submittals for review.
• Schedule materials and track deliveries; assist with invoice approvals.
• Support QA/QC activities and documentation as needed.
