Job summary

DEPCOM Power in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Subcontract Manager for the electrical scope. You will develop and evaluate electrical scopes of work, review bids, and lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors to align with project estimates.

You will own relationships with electrical contractors, identify qualified partners, monitor capacity, and support strategy for subcontract vs self-perform, while delivering safe, compliant, on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction and EPC environments.
• Experience negotiating terms, pricing or change orders with contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience evaluating electrical scopes and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate electrical scopes of work and identify gaps before award.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids, pricing and execution capability; provide award recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations with electrical subcontractors on scope and change orders.
• Manage relationships with electrical subcontractors across the portfolio.
• Identify and qualify new electrical contractors; maintain a capable partner base.
• Monitor work concentration across the electrical partner base.
• Support subcontract versus self-perform strategy with Project Management.
• Provide market intelligence on contractor capability, capacity and pricing.
• Escalate high-risk commercial and contractual matters as needed.
