Position Type: Part time
Remote Type: Salary Range: $16.37/ Hour
Job Shift:

The Electrical Department is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Student Worker to support instructors and lab equipment. This role offers hands‑on experience with electrical systems and tools - ideal for students pursuing a career in the electrical field.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assisting instructors with lab and classroom setup
  • Maintaining and repairing meters and test equipment
  • Repairing and maintaining job boards
  • Setting up for performance exams
  • Recycling and disposing of used wire
  • Ordering and tracking repair parts and materials
  • Performing basic carpentry tasks when needed
  • Cleaning and organizing lab spaces
  • Moving and setting up classroom/lab furniture and equipment
Qualifications
  • Basic electrical knowledge and skills
  • Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment - multi meters and related equipment
  • Proficient use of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
