Job summary

This is a Full-Time position. It schedules personnel, equipment, tooling, and parts needed to support the MORU, maintenance tasks, site setup, and support. The supervisor coordinates and communicates issues, concerns, and projects with Support team members regarding support for the Evo Fleets and Amp facilities and fleets. The supervisor reviews planned work, maintenance, and requested repairs while maintaining applicable safety codes (OSHA, MSHA, NIOSH, DOT) and electrical codes (NEC, CSA, IEEE Standards, NETA).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supervises Electrical Strategic Support Technicians and Medium Voltage Technicians.
  • Manages housing, flights, scheduling, tooling, and vehicles for the Electrical Strategic Support team.
  • Assists Support Teams with troubleshooting equipment to prevent non-production time and/or pumping inefficiencies.
  • Approves timesheets and expenses for technician roles.
  • Helps set goals for the Electrical Strategic Support team and develops workflow for the Support team.
  • Reviews planned work, maintenance, and repairs; schedules and coordinates equipment repairs when support is needed or a move occurs.
  • Supports the Power Generation MORU team as needed.
  • Ensures Support teams follow SOPs, best practices, and policies.
  • Researches and manages documentation needed by the Support team for all equipment, including drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Monitors and provides fleet assistance to ensure startups after moves are completed properly.
  • Provides pre-job and post-job analysis, where applicable.
  • Conducts work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace requirements.
  • Evaluates operational readiness of gas turbine and gas reciprocating engines and related equipment.
  • May aid in implementation of more efficient work tasks, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures pre-job preparation readiness, including tooling and parts
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned as deemed appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License. Employment is contingent upon meeting the company's driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with the company's policy.
  • Daily overtime is required, and in-person, predictable attendance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools.
  • Proficiency in spoken English language.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical College Training preferred.
  • 10-20 years of previous electrical experience required, or an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.
  • Previous oilfield experience preferred, although not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prove high aptitude in technical skill sets and competencies as listed below.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
  • Able to communicate in a technical manner with clients.
  • Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to take instructions well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within assigned work groups.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Possesses fundamental knowledge of fracturing equipment and multimeter testing devices.
  • Basic proficiency in maintenance of pumps, blenders, and power generation equipment.
  • Ability to complete scheduled New Hire Safety training, including H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
  • Attends and successfully completes annual safety and recertification training.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12-hour shifts for 14 consecutive days.
  • Basic mechanical, mathematical, and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use company-mandated digital platforms, including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, and other required systems; new hires must be able to learn these platforms quickly.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. When required to go to a wellsite, employees will rideshare with multiple employees. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. Employees are regularly required to lift heavy objects; therefore, employees must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently and 50-100 lbs. with a team lift. Work hours may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
