Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an experienced CSU Lead Electrical Startup Engineer for the Thacker Pass Lithium project in Nevada. You will oversee electrical startup testing, coordinate with disciplines, and manage precommissioning and commissioning activities to meet schedule and budget.

Requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of experience in precommissioning/commissioning, with 2+ years in leadership. Travel and US work authorization are required; relocation supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in precommissioning/commissioning or startup, with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of the physical processes in mining/extraction facilities and control philosophies.
• Reading electrical schematics and instrument loops; knowledge of startup methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical startup testing activities, including component, system, and integrated testing.
• Develop advanced work packages for electrical precommissioning and commissioning testing.
• Prepare startup manuals and testing procedures to ensure alignment with project plans.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, and client teams to leverage diverse skills.
• Prepare, award and administer specialty subcontracts to support commissioning activities.
• Provide on-the-job training to client personnel as required and ensure documentation consistency.
