Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrical Specialist in Nashville, TN, to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across commercial properties. Requirements include a high school diploma with electrician apprenticeship, a valid license, 3–5 years of hands-on experience, and strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an electrician apprenticeship or technical training.
• Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or Master as required).
• 3–5 years of hands-on commercial electrical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and systems per codes and safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions with testing tools like multimeters and thermal imagers.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Read blueprints and schematics to plan installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with facilities teams and contractors on upgrades.
• Document all activities in CMMS with accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, OSHA, and JLL safety protocols.
