Job summary

Viking Electric in Rochester, MN is seeking an Account Representative for full-time daytime hours. Location is Rochester, MN with hourly pay ranging from $27.75 to $37.00. Total compensation includes commissions, annual bonus opportunity, and full benefits.

Responsibilities include growing account volume, promoting Viking Electric’s products and digital solutions, and coordinating with field and account managers to implement growth plans. Benefits are provided with full-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new technology.
• Attention to detail with developed organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to secure orders.
• Proactively solicit new business from assigned accounts and promote Viking Electric's services.
• Collaborate with Field Account Manager and Key Account Managers to grow accounts.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to process orders accurately and share customer preferences.
• Support other sales associates to foster a cooperative team approach to customer service.
• Understand the marketplace to assist with pricing strategy and price rule adjustments.
• Maintain an electronic file system for customer information and past conversations.
