Job summary
Rodenhiser Home Services is seeking a skilled electrical service technician in Massachusetts. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, educate customers to choose the best products, and lead field operations with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
The role includes mentoring apprentices, maintaining organized job sites, and delivering exceptional service to thousands of satisfied customers.
Qualifications
- Competent in the use of all tools and resources related to basic service calls.
- Knowledge of Electrical codes and proper safety standards.
- Engaged in further technical development (i.e. Different disciplines and cross-training).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and lead customers to informed, and confident buying decisions.
- Complete any electrical residential service calls.
- Establish customer rapport to instill confidence in team and sell the right products and services.
- Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
- Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
