Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Electrical Service Specialist in Tempe, AZ to perform startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium- and low-voltage electrical power systems. You will lead installations, support site surveys, and train customer personnel on operation and maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to obtain thermography certification. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Tempe area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong electrical knowledge.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and repair of electrical control circuits.
• Experience with electrical testing including dielectric and insulation tests may be helpful.
• Ability to obtain thermography certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with low/medium voltage power distributions.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and checkout of electrical components for service jobs and agreements.
• Perform maintenance and testing of switchgear, motor controls, panels, transformers, and related gear.
• Provide onsite technical support and develop design plans from site surveys.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of complex equipment.
• Prepare reports and manage tools, calibration items, and test equipment.
• Plan labor, materials, and transportation costs for complex proposals.
