Siemens in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Electrical Service Specialist to perform startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage power systems. You will lead installation, checkout, and service upgrades, and provide expert technical support to customers.

The role requires 8+ years of electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Advanced certifications and an associate degree are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years troubleshooting electrical control circuits and related tests.
• Experience with protective relays and protection coordination.
• Experience with testing of medium and low voltage systems and dielectric/thermal testing.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA codes and standards.

Mansioni

• Lead installation and checkout of electrical components for service jobs and agreements.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and complex upgrades for low-voltage power distribution products.
• Conduct site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.
• Provide customer training and expert technical assistance to staff and customers.
• Prepare reports covering job activity and maintain tools and calibration items.
• Plan labor, materials, and transportation costs for complex proposals.
• Be available for emergency and relief assignments.
