Electrical Service Technician

The role of an Electrical Service Technician is to deliver exceptional electrical service maintenance on residential systems, ensuring all work is performed correctly and reflects Hiller’s values.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough electrical inspections, including Health and Safety Checklist, and communicate findings to customers via written option sheets.
• Provide electrical service and repair to customer units as needed.
• Coordinate with utility service providers and local code officials to establish proper guidelines.
• Transport materials and tools to job sites, maintaining accurate accounting of assigned tools.
• Keep the service truck clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A must‑have journeyman or master license.
• Minimum of five years of experience preferred but not mandatory.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license; approved to drive by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and on call.
• Ability to use a computer tablet, smartphone, map, or GPS.
• A minimum of five years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correction of diverse service issues (preferred).
• Pre‑employment drug screening and background check required.
