Job summary

Hiller in Tennessee seeks an experienced electrician to provide electrical service and repair for homes, apartments and businesses. You will install and upgrade components such as generators, rewires, services and panels, coordinating with utility providers and local code officials to ensure safety and compliance.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years in service or construction, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service or construction experience preferred in electrical work.
• Must be detail-oriented to ensure safety in the electrical field.
• Must be team oriented and able to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Install and/or upgrade a wide variety of electrical components (generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.).
• Coordinate with utility service providers and local code officials to meet guidelines.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and use proper PPE at all times.
• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses
• Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.
• Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
• Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times
• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• A minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience preferred in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues.
• Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field in ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.
• Must be team oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers

Education/Certification Requirements

• TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A valid driver's license
• Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule
