Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC in Florence, AL seeks an experienced electrician to install, upgrade, and repair electrical systems for homes and businesses. You will coordinate with utility providers and code officials, while maintaining safety standards on every job.

The role requires 2 years of service or construction experience, a detail-oriented mindset, strong teamwork, and excellent customer communication. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install or upgrade electrical components (generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.).
• Provide electrical service and repair to homes, apartments and businesses.
• Coordinate with utility providers and local code officials to ensure guidelines are met.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements at all times.
• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.

Job Responsibilities

• install and/or upgrade a wide variety of electrical components including but not limited to generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.
• provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses.
• coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
• adhere to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times.
• keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse electrical service issues.
• highly detail-oriented to ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.
• team oriented.
• ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and be on call.

Education/Certification Requirements

• TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation

• $22 - $35 an hour.
