Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Service Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical service, maintenance, and small-project work from inquiry through completion in Des Moines, IA. You will coordinate estimating, planning, procurement, scheduling, field execution, safety, and closeout with customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills, plus experience with electrical systems and project-management tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering is required.
Minimum five years of progressively responsible related experience.
Experience with electrical estimating, project-management, service-management, scheduling, and job-cost software.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Lead service projects from initiation through closeout, coordinating teams and customers.
Develop scopes, proposals, budgets, material lists, schedules, execution plans, and pricing for electrical work.
Communicate schedule, budget, safety requirements, changes, and project status to stakeholders.
Review drawings, specs, and manufacturer documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
Coordinate manpower, procurement, and field execution with operations leadership.
