Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator - Electrical to oversee scheduling, material planning, and quality control across multiple manufacturing teams in Des Moines, IA. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production to meet project deadlines and ensure compliance with specifications.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with experience in MEP materials, prefabrication processes, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, prefabrication, or supply chain management in MEP/construction/industrial sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of MEP materials and prefabrication processes and their integration into modular skids/racks.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Proficiency in Stratus Software.
• Experience with quality assurance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing workflows to ensure timely production and delivery of prefabricated MEP components.
• Assist in maintaining production schedules aligned with project timelines and contractor requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
• Maintain documentation including shop tickets, material receipts, quality control reports, and fabrication logs.
• Serve as liaison between project managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication and execution of requirements.
