FirstCall Mechanical in Macon, GA is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to lead the service department, ensuring high-quality, on-budget project completion and maintenance contracts. You will recruit and develop staff, assign workloads, manage customer satisfaction, and oversee operations with emphasis on safety, vehicle upkeep and reporting.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on electrical experience and strong management ability, plus an EPA certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Must be comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum 5-7 years of management experience, or field experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Active EPA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the staff, including hiring, terminating and disciplining employees, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
• Assess technician skills and assign appropriate work, identifying training needs.
• Develop training/work procedures and drive customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Coordinate dispatching to ensure proper technician selection for service type.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints and supervise regular staff meetings.
• Ensure materials/equipment are ordered and available for scheduled jobs.
• Generate reports on department operations and manage inventory, tools, and vehicles.
• Instruct technicians on proper materials usage and quality workmanship.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of vehicles and facility/equipment.
