The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated laboratory systems while managing customer relationships and driving service revenue. Position requires travel up to 50% and occasional on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair laboratory instruments including KiestrA, Microbiology, Molecular, and LC/MS systems
• Respond promptly to customer service needs and communicate work performed with follow-up plans
• Generate field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment relocation offerings
• Schedule and complete proactive system upgrades with customers
• Document customer complaints and maintain inventory of spare parts and assigned equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, or Biomedical discipline
• Understanding of electronics, electro-mechanical devices, PLCs, and pneumatics
• Intermediate knowledge of information systems networking architecture design
• Intermediate understanding of computer software operating systems
• Valid state-issued Real ID driver's license with 3+ years driving history
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and perform fine motor tasks repeatedly
• Ability to travel up to 50% outside home geographic area
