Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an on-site supervisor to lead electrical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role requires a Journeyperson license, strong safety focus, and ability to coordinate 1–6 crew members including apprentices and journeypersons.

You will ensure adherence to NEC and local codes, manage field operations, and maintain client relationships while prioritizing safety, quality, and schedule adherence on project sites.

Qualifications

• Requires Journeyperson skills and ability to work with live/energized parts.
• Familiarity with NEC, state and local codes and safety standards.
• Strong leadership and coordination of field personnel and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site installation, alteration, and repair tasks.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met per company SOPs and NEC codes.
• Coordinate crew schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting; interact with owners and engineers as needed.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and performance development for team members.
