Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. in Indiana seeks an experienced journeyman electrician to lead on-site installations, alterations, additions and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will ensure safety, compliance with NEC and local codes, and coordinate field crews to meet schedule and quality standards. Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints and shop drawings, mentoring 1–6 helpers or apprentices, conducting daily inspections, and maintaining project documentation

Qualifications

• Accredited Apprenticeship Program completion or six years on the job electrical experience required.
• Journeyman License required by state/locale.
• Ability to interpret NEC, state and local codes.

• Demonstrates acceptable Company work practices that can be emulated by fellow employees.
• Cultivates a cooperative relationship with managers, supervisors, fellow employees, and customers/clients.
• Works with supervisor in personnel alignment and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Oversees, directs, and develops an assigned team of 1-6 Helpers, Apprentices, and/or Journeypersons.
• Leads meetings and huddles to meet project objectives and schedules.
• Maintains accurate project documentation and ensures timely installations.
