Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Sales Director for the Pittsburgh District based in Moon Township, PA, to lead all sales activities and drive market share. This role reports into Eaton's North America Electrical Sales Division and requires coaching and directing a team of sales professionals.

Responsibilities include building relationships with customers and distributors, planning coverage, and launching product initiatives. Travel up to 25% is anticipated; MBA or related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in electrical sales.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales management positions.
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• No relocation is offered for this position; resident within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA.

Responsibilities

• Establish new and build on existing relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume and customer service.
• Plan, direct, and drive the sales resources to assure adequate coverage of accounts.
• Understand competitors' products, tactics, strategy, pricing, and their competitive position in the district.
• Plan and manage the sales to assure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts.
• Create strategic plans and implement product line initiatives and launches.
• Build close relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume.
• Understand electrical products and their competitive position within the district.
• Identify, analyze, select, and improve districts' various channels to market.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and improve organizational capabilities of sales personnel.
