Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead the reliability, maintenance, and optimization of plant electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will oversee high-voltage distribution, critical production equipment, automation, and capital projects to maximize efficiency while adhering to NFPA 70E, MSHA, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
7–10 years of electrical maintenance experience in cement, mining, or heavy manufacturing.
Experience leading preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
Experience managing electrical capital projects, maintenance budgets, contractors, and outage activities.
Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E, and industrial safety programs.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all plant maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate with other departments.
Coordinate outages, capital projects, and contractor work.
Manage maintenance budgets and cost control initiatives.
Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards within maintenance.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS and ensure data integrity.
Foster workforce development through coaching and performance evaluations.
