Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead reliability, maintenance, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across the cement plant. You will oversee high-voltage distribution, automation, and capital projects to maximize production efficiency while upholding NFPA 70E, MSHA, and company safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance activities, implementing preventive/predictive programs, managing budgets, and coaching teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum 7-10 years electrical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing with supervisory responsibilities.
Proven leadership in maintenance, reliability programs, and capital project oversight.
Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

Oversee plant maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure safety, health, and environmental regulatory compliance and foster safety culture.
Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Manage maintenance budgets, outages, and capital projects.
