Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to own electrical systems across production units in Deer Park, TX. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to improve asset reliability, manage 138kV to 480V distribution, and support 24x7 operations.

The role emphasizes MOCs/ASMs, preventive maintenance planning, and adherence to NEC, NFPA 70E/B, and API RP-500 standards while collaborating with vendors and internal groups to ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical experience in refinery or petrochemical facilities.
• Experience with electrical distribution up to 138kV.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E/B, API RP-500.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for MOCs and ASMs.
• Develop 10-year reliability strategy for power distribution.
• Lead electrical efforts during plant abnormal situations.
• Ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA/API standards.
• Coordinate with I&PC on ENMCS architecture.
