Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park seeks an Electrical Engineer II to own electrical aspects of Production Unit(s) and related programs at the Deer Park site. The role interfaces with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and vendors to ensure reliable, compliant electrical systems across multiple voltage levels.

The candidate will apply MEC/RCM concepts, support management of change, and drive safety culture in electrical operations while developing preventative maintenance plans and contributing to plant

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical experience in large petrochemical facilities.
• Experience with 138kV, 35kV, 15kV, 4.16kV, 2.4kV systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes: 70E, 70B, API RP-500.
• Experience with protective relays and protection schemes.
• Able to work in a collaborative team and manage multiple interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for MOCs and complex ASMs and support management of change processes.
• Identify long-term and recurring problems and propose feasible resolutions.
• Maintain and improve the Electrical Network Monitoring and Control System (ENMCS) architecture with I&PC.
• Develop 10-year strategies to enhance reliability of power distribution projects.
• Lead electrical efforts during plant abnormal situations and recoveries.
