Qualifications

• 2+ years exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend English; understand blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot with strong problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc).
• Use a multimeter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit designs for correct wiring and operation.
• Utilize Hipot, test card, hand tools, and Siemens software (WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP) to support testing and inspection.
• Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
