Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Quality Test Technician II for our Fort Worth, TX site to ensure the quality of low-voltage power distribution equipment. You will perform testing and inspection to applicable standards, using multimeters, Hipot testers, and Siemens software such as WinPM, Step7, and WinCC Flexible, while documenting results.

The role requires 2+ years on electrical components, a high school diploma or GED, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with electrical components.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity reading blueprints/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e. UL1558, UL891, IEEE).
• Use multimeter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design.
• Use Hipot, test card, hand tools, specialized software and SAP to aid testing.
• Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
