Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure manufacturing processes meet high standards and that products conform to build specifications before delivery. You will set up test stations, perform electrical performance testing, review drawings, and document results while coordinating with the Lead Electrician for corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in electrical installation within manufacturing or construction environments.
• Working knowledge of NEC code.
• Willingness to supervise and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product buildings for performance testing and set up test workstations.
• Conduct electrical performance testing per the TCC System.
• Review construction drawings and execute structured testing sequences.
• Test circuit continuity and electrical compatibility with volt/ohmmeters.
• Document test results and troubleshoot deficiencies.
• Coordinate corrective actions with Lead Electrician.
• Assist with post-testing labeling and material preparation.
• Train team on installation policies, standards, and quality expectations.
