Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect and test electrical components and systems throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and company standards. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring, ability to read schematics, and careful attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and listening skills.

• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on the production floor and completed units to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Perform point-to-point testing of electrical wiring, ensuring proper connections as per inspection work instructions.
• Sign in/out gauges for production use and maintain their calibration records.
• Assist in customer testing procedures, including sound, run, and water tests.
• Maintain inventory of QA-related materials such as zip ties, tags, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address customer-related issues or questions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to guide inspection processes.
• Perform final inspections and document findings accurately.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager or designee.
