Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years experience with switchgear.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards in every task.
• Ability to work within established guidelines while proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and address quality concerns.
• Comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment handling both routine and unexpected challenges.
• Interpreting technical drawings and being customer focused.
• Oral and written communication in English and meeting deadlines in multi-tasking environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and process control activities throughout the manufacturing process.
• Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen product quality and reduce risks.
• Work with suppliers and procurement teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality compliance during new manufacturing line setups and process changes.
• Read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics.
• Identify discrepancies between customer requirements and finished product.
• Perform visual checks of completed products in line with specs and QC reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical/electro-mechanical issues.
• Provide training and guidance to new testers in the department.
• Collaborate with Engineering to determine specs and corrective actions; interact with Assembly on wiring issues.
