Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to implement and verify quality control on field installations across our projects. You will perform inspections, read blueprints, and ensure adherence to safety and contract specifications.

The role emphasizes documenting results, reporting non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement through data collection. Strong communication and physical ability to work at height may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline (may be substituted for quality-related experience).
• At least 4 years hands-on experience in construction, estimation, and/or quality control activities.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to details, highly organized and computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and conformance with project or contract specifications.
• Read blueprints and specifications; monitor operations to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Document approval or rejection of inspected material, components, or products; report non-conformances.
• Assist in quality reporting and daily ORM meetings; provide guidance as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure shifts are covered and inspections completed.
