Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to perform field inspections and verify that electrical and mechanical work meets the Quality Control Program, safety policies, and project specifications.

The role involves reviewing plans, identifying nonconformances, and documenting results to support durable installations. Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree or equivalent experience, with 4+ years in construction or quality control, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline or equivalent quality-related experience.
• At least 4 years hands-on experience in construction, estimation, and/or quality control activities.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Perform inspections per the Quality Control Plan and applicable legal standards.
• Read blueprints and specifications to verify workmanship and materials.
• Operate inspection equipment and software; document results.
• Identify nonconformances and advise on corrective actions.
• Record and report inspection data and quantities inspected weekly.
• Coordinate with foreman and supervisor to ensure shift coverage.
• Assist in training operators on quality procedures.
