Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to execute the Quality Control Program on electrical and mechanical installations.

You will perform field inspections, ensure safety and compliance with plans, and help maintain durable, reliable systems across projects. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, documenting test results, and coordinating with teams to address non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, specifications, NEC codes and standards.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail; highly organized and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct inspections per Quality Control Plan and applicable legal requirements.
• Read blueprints and specifications; monitor operations against specs.
• Document approval or rejection of inspected material and products.
• Report inspection data and participate in continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure shifts are covered.
