Job summary

M.C. Dean in the United States seeks a Electrical Quality Control Inspector to ensure durable, compliant installations across projects. You will perform field inspections, read blueprints, and verify work against safety and quality plans.

The role requires an Associate degree, 4+ years in electrical, ability to obtain a Journeyman license within 6 months, and strong attention to detail. You’ll collaborate with QA teams and operations to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equal quality experience.
• 4+ years hands-on electrical industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a state Journeyman License within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with reading and interpreting drawings, BIM models, specifications, NEC codes.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and conformance with project specifications.
• Read blueprints and specifications and operate inspection equipment.
• Document approval or rejection of inspected material and report data.
• Identify non-conforming units and coordinate with supervision for corrective action.
• Participate in ORM meetings and provide quality tips of the day.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure shifts are covered and inspections are performed.
