Job summary

The Electrical Quality Control Inspector at M.C. Dean will perform field inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.

You will read blueprints and specifications, document results, and identify non-conformances for timely corrective action. You will collaborate with QA, engineering, and operations, operate inspection equipment and software, and maintain accurate daily QC reports.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent quality experience.
• At least 4 years hands-on electrical industry experience.
• Ability to obtain a state Journeyman license within 6 months of hire.
• Experience interpreting drawings, NEC codes, and contract requirements.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and organization.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with project specs.
• Read blueprints and specifications to verify installation.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances.
• Coordinate with QA and foreman on quality issues.
• Utilize inspection equipment to measure and test components.
• Prepare daily QC reports.
