Job summary

Crescent Power Systems Inc. in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a QA Technician to help ensure our integrated electrical buildings are built to design, standards, schedules, and customer expectations.

You’ll work hands-on with the QA Manager, project managers, vendors, manufacturers, and customers during the integration process. The role involves reviewing equipment, inspecting components, tracking materials and documents, supporting inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing, and visiting vendor

Qualifications

• Technical training or strong field experience around electrical equipment and industrial environments.
• Technical degree, journeyman electrical certification, or electrical engineering background preferred; exceptional field experience also valuable.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, metal building fabrication, field service, inspections, or industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review integrated electrical buildings at multiple fabrication stages.
• Inspect equipment and identify design, quality, or execution issues.
• Track materials, schedules, punch lists, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to keep projects moving.
• Participate in customer and third-party inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Visit vendor/integrator facilities to inspect major equipment (switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, HVAC, control equipment).
• Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to internal teams and customers.
• Help capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.
