Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Technician to support quality assurance and quality control on mission-critical construction projects in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on maintaining electrical installation quality, identifying deficiencies, coordinating corrective actions, and verifying readiness before testing and turnover.

You will perform field inspections, review drawings and submittals, and ensure conformance with NEC and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Ability to read electrical plans and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field inspections of electrical installations.
• Verify completed work against electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings and approved submittals.
• Confirm compliance with the NEC and client requirements.
• Inspect conduits, cable trays, feeders, terminations, grounding and bonding, panels, transformers, switchgear and MCCs.
• Identify installation deficiencies and document findings clearly.
• Coordinate corrective actions with foremen, electricians and other field personnel.
• Verify deficiencies are corrected properly before testing, energization and turnover.
• Review electrical testing results and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, deficiency logs and corrective-action records.
• Support inspection scheduling and quality-control planning.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, GC, commissioning personnel and other trades.
