IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Lithia Springs, GA. The role focuses on developing QA standards, identifying non-conformances, and coordinating inspections and audits with the Project Team.

The position requires 2–5 years of electrical construction experience, HS Diploma/GED, and proficiency with Excel/Word. Safety and regulatory compliance are emphasized across all QA activities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Electrical Field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Reports quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports; ensures compliance with safety policies.

• Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
• Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
