Sargent & Lundy seeks an Electrical Quality Specialist for field assignments across the southeastern United States within heavy industrial construction projects. You will lead QA/QC activities, ensure contractor adherence to specs, manage document control, and support startup and warranty phases.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electrical QA, operations, and maintenance within the power generation industry.
• Familiarity with NFPA, NEMA, OSHA, NEC and related standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.

Responsabilités

• Oversee QA/QC program across all project phases, ensuring compliance with contract specs and standards.
• Audit contractor activities for conformity with design documents and project specifications.
• Manage document control and ensure latest revisions are used.
• Ensure installed work aligns with drawings, specs and contractual requirements.
• Track progress and highlight key activities in daily reports.
• Provide interface between contractors/subcontractors and client; enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor material storage and equipment readiness; review testing and compliance docs.
• Maintain quality records and as-built documentation for compliance and reporting.
• Audit results and metrics reported to management; propose corrective actions.
• Assist in pre-planning quality control processes with contractors.
• Document inspection observations and manage non-conformances.
• Summarize QA/QC performance statistics for management.
