B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project QA/QC professional to join Florida’s fastest growing MEP contractor.

This role focuses on controlling quality documentation, monitoring QA/QC activities, and coordinating with the Project Manager and client representatives on large-scale commercial projects. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field experience, strong blueprint reading skills, Procore proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of field experience and/or relevant degree or job-specific certifications.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an understanding of mapping concepts.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
• Skilled in reviewing product submittals for construction equipment.
• Experience with Procore or similar software.
• Proficient in using an iPad.
• Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and physical labor per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Control and distribution of all quality documentation for the assigned project.
• Monitor all quality-related activities on the project.
• Attend client quality management meetings.
• Prepare and control project quality system management documentation.
• Monitor disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
• Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with the Project Manager and customer representatives.
• Coordinate quality-related correspondence with customers.
• Monitor statistical method reporting.
• Respond to and close all customer complaints.
• Maintain project archive documentation upon completion.
