Advantage Technical in Childress, TX is seeking a QA/QC Field Engineer (Electrical) to support quality assurance on a large-scale construction site. The role involves onsite inspections, ensuring compliance with project specs and codes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years QA/QC in construction, a related degree, and proficiency with Procore, BIM360, Bluebeam, and MS Office. Per diem, a 50-hour work week, and collaborative coordination with engineers and contractors are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of construction QA/QC experience
• Experience with electrical, structural, construction inspection, or field engineering activities
• Proficiency with Procore, BIM360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, construction codes, and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections of electrical and other construction scopes
• Verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and QA/QC plans
• Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Review documentation and support quality meetings
• Inspect owner-furnished equipment and construction installations
• Identify and help resolve quality issues throughout construction and commissioning
