Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II in Wisconsin to perform electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system tasks under supervision. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus NEC knowledge, is required.

This role involves mentorship of junior staff, design calculations, and coordination with manufacturing and data center teams. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (4–7 years) or an Associate in Electrical Technology (6–8 years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with 4–7 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology with 6–8 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Travel 5–15% required.
• Work schedule: 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance/mentorship to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.
• Performs detailed calculations to establish construction standards and specifications.
• Assembles permit level drawings and manufacturing level assembly drawings as needed.
• Prepares technical drawings and reviews electrical gear submittals to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Plans layout of electrical E-houses and skidded solutions.
• Utilizes National Electric Code knowledge to implement designs.
• Collaborates with manufacturing on complex skidded or E-house projects.
• Conducts field surveys to identify and correct power system problems.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and data center clients on projects.
• Ensures project activities adhere to specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspects completed installations for conformance to design and equipment specs.
• Operates CAD/engineering software for engineering tasks.

The Electrical Engineer II is responsible for performing electrical power, lighting, and/or low voltage system engineering tasks for electrical construction projects, under the direct supervision of an upper level Engineer or Engineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is required as well as knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
• Experience: 4-7 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience

• Experience: 6-8 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience
• Travel: 5-15%
• Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides guidance/mentorship to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.

• Works hand in hand with manufacturing team on complex solutions for skidded or E-house projects.
• Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and data center clients to discuss existing or potential projects.
• Provides guidance to ensure that project activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.
• Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
